Last updated: May 14, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how HomepageAuditor handles account data, uploaded screenshots, AI audit results, payment metadata, analytics, and support communications.
1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how HomepageAuditor collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you use our website, AI homepage audit tools, paid audit credits, reports, and related services.
HomepageAuditor helps users upload homepage screenshots and receive AI-generated design, user experience, accessibility, and conversion recommendations. Because screenshots may contain text, images, contact details, customer names, or other information visible on a homepage, please only upload content that you are authorized to submit.
2. Information We Collect
Account information: when you sign in, we may receive your email address, authentication provider identifier, profile information made available by the provider, and session information needed to keep you signed in.
Uploaded content: we collect screenshots, images, website content visible in those screenshots, audit inputs, generated audit results, and related metadata needed to provide reports and support paid unlocks.
Payment information: purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy or another payment provider. We may receive order identifiers, customer email, product details, payment status, tax or billing metadata, refund status, and fraud or chargeback signals. We do not intentionally collect or store full payment card numbers.
Usage and device information: we may collect log data, IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, referring URLs, approximate location derived from IP address, cookies, analytics events, and interactions with the service.
Support communications: if you contact us, we may collect your name, email address, message content, attachments, and any other information you choose to provide.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to provide, maintain, secure, and improve HomepageAuditor; authenticate users; generate audit previews and full reports; process paid audit credits and unlocks; send transactional messages; respond to support requests; prevent fraud and abuse; debug errors; analyze product performance; and comply with legal obligations.
We may use uploaded screenshots and audit results to operate and improve the service, including quality checks, abuse prevention, and product development. We do not sell your uploaded screenshots or audit reports.
4. AI Processing
HomepageAuditor uses automated systems and third-party AI providers to analyze screenshots and generate recommendations. Uploaded screenshots, prompts, extracted content, and generated outputs may be processed by those providers as needed to deliver the service.
Do not upload screenshots that contain sensitive personal information, regulated data, confidential customer records, financial account numbers, health information, government identifiers, secrets, passwords, API keys, or private information that should not be processed by AI systems.
5. Cookies and Analytics
We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, secure sessions, measure usage, understand traffic, and improve the product.
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the website. Google Analytics may collect information such as pages visited, device details, approximate location, and interaction events. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling some cookies may affect sign-in or checkout-related functionality.
6. How We Share Information
We share information with service providers that help us operate HomepageAuditor, including authentication, hosting, database, storage, analytics, AI processing, payment processing, email, support, monitoring, security, and fraud prevention providers.
We may share information when required by law, legal process, or government request; to protect the rights, safety, and security of HomepageAuditor, users, or others; to enforce our Terms; or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets.
Lemon Squeezy may act as merchant of record for purchases and processes buyer, payment, tax, compliance, fraud, refund, and receipt information according to its own terms and privacy policy.
7. Data Retention
We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including providing audits and reports, maintaining account history, resolving disputes, preventing abuse, complying with legal obligations, and keeping business records.
Uploaded screenshots and reports may remain associated with your account so you can view or download them. We may delete or anonymize data when it is no longer needed, when an account is closed, or when deletion is appropriate under applicable law.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No internet service, storage system, payment flow, or AI processing pipeline can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
You are responsible for keeping your authentication provider account secure and for limiting the sensitive information visible in any screenshot you upload.
9. International Processing
HomepageAuditor and its service providers may process and store information in countries other than your country of residence. Those countries may have data protection laws different from the laws where you live.
Where required, we rely on appropriate legal mechanisms for international transfers and on service providers that commit to data protection obligations.
10. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal information we hold about you. You may also have the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
You can request privacy assistance by contacting us at the email address below. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests. Some information may be retained where required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, accounting, dispute resolution, or legitimate business purposes.
